i drive an 18 wheeler the radio in my truck is sirius xm but radio id doesnt match and cant be hooked up can a portable radio plug into the original radio and be connected
Yes but the radio ID doesn’t match means that the ID number showing on the radio display isn’t the real ID. Due to character display limitations on those radios, they can be very difficult to read the correct ID. If you can send us a picture of the radio ID as displayed on the radio, we can decipher it for them and then they will be able to activate the factory radio. do you need internet to run the satellite radio?
No, you just need a satellite subscription. Depending on what subscription package you choose you'll get both SiriusXM satellite and streaming service. You can learn more about our subscription packages at www.siriusxm.com/packages

Can the docking station have a plug for the car or take batteries
The SXSD2 does not come with a plug for the car but it does come with an AC power adapter and cord. Or you can use 8 "D" size batteries. With regards to the power on/light, the light is blue when the Portable Speaker Dock is powered on. The light will turn red when the batteries in the Portable Speaker Dock are nearly discharged and need replacement.

Yes, this will work with your vehicle but you'll need to pull the radio out to get to the FM antenna input on the radio.

Can your geek squad install this unit in my 579 Peterbilt? Do they install in big trucks?
The installation in a heavy truck is very similar to the installation in an automobile. You may need to get a truck sat radio antenna or mirror bracket for the supplied antenna that comes with the Onyx EZR in order to get the best reception. Check out our Road Dog Trucking channel dedicated to professional drivers on channel 147. For Geek Squad installation, I'd recommend calling the store directly to see if they can service your Peterbilt.

The description states, "Optional head unit (not included) Enables you to enjoy Traffic & Weather Now, SportsFlash and TuneMix features, so you can receive helpful alerts and blend songs from your current SiriusXM Preset Band channels." What is that?
SXV300 tuner will work with all "SiriusXM Ready" head unit which are sold separately. If you already own (or purchase one) SiriusXM ready head unit then you can add SiriusXM functionalitiy by installing this tuner.

I am trying to see if this is the tuner I need for alpine 7 Satellite ready but no where does it say its for a 2004 chev truck i know the alpine is compatible just doesnt go into enough detail for a simple question is it the tuner the radio need
SXV300 tuner will work with all "SiriusXM Ready" head unit. Please check the user manual of your head unit for "SiriusXM Ready" compatibility.

Does this receiver have Bluetooth capabilities? I need a device to receive satellite radio (already have siriusxm subscription) then wirelessly transmit to my speaker. Please, could you direct me to the correct receiver? Thanks
No this radio does not have Bluetooth capabilities. I would recommend the new Tour Radio instead, SKU 6408173. The Tour radio does have Bluetooth capabilities and also satellite and streaming service capabilities.

I bought a SiriusXM tour and I can’t get the streaming channels nor xtra channels to work. I have connected the device via wifi and all I see is the streaming channels grayed out and says upgrade to listen. Has anyone had this problem? Did multiple refres
