Hello Sher, thank you for your message. Sony DVD players sold in the U.S.are coded to play Region 1 DVD discs. Many commercially-produced DVD movies contain regional coding to prevent the playback of the disc in a geographical area other than the one in which it was released. DVD movies released in one region may only play on DVD players manufactured for that same region. Blu-ray Disc® media does have region codes, but unlike DVD players, the region codes for Blu-ray Disc media use letters instead of numbers to indicate a particular zone or region where the discs can be played. -Oscar.

Can you use a wireless keyboard instead of the remote?

On our present Samsung, we use a wireless keyboard to type in web site addresses when using the web browser. Can this be done with the Sony 810C?
Reviews indicate difficulty using the remote for this purpose and we do not have Android phones. Lastly we are returning a Samsung JS7000 because of terrible flashlighting/clouding - any comments regarding this Sony??

Not getting image when I connect soundbar with tv using HDMI

I am trying to connect the Sony HTCT380 soundbar that I purchased 2 days ago to my TV LG 47LH30. I used the HDMI cable to connect soundbar to HDMI 1 and took the cable from HDMI1 and attached it to one of the 3 ports on the soundbar. Also took the HDMI2 cable and attached it to the soundbar but I am not able to get any image. TV just shows No Signal. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Viji, You must connect the HDMI cable from the HDMI ARC port of the soundbar to the HDMI IN port of your TV, and connect an additional optical cable from the optical out of your TV to the optical in of this soundbar (since your TV doesn't have ARC). Make sure to select the correct input on your TV. -Anthony
