We just had to return the LG 49" Nano Cell because the holes on the TV would not line up with the mounting brackets. That TV supposedly has a VESA of 200x200. Any way to know ahead of time if the TV will work other than trial and error?

I need to know the depth of top shelf and if it would hold a tv of 75 inch that the legs depth says 16.3. Would it safely support 80 lb tv. It says it is 20 inch depth in answe but not confirmed so want to know from manufacture
