Hi Christopher, to answer your questions: 1. This product is sold with one set of Tipping Restraint Hardware Kit. You must install it between the wall and the TV console to prevent any accidents or damages. When properly installed, this restraint can provide protection against the unexpected
tipping of the unit due to small tremors, bumps or climbing. The restraint is only a deterrent and
is not a substitute for proper adult supervision. 2. This TV Stand fits up to most 60" Flat Panel TVs, maximum load 135 lbs, with a flat or curved/recessed back.

Should the stand tilt backward slightly? Mine doesn't have any adjusters on the back and it causes the TV to tilt slightly backward.

Will this tv stand hold a 39" tv?

It will actually depend on the width of your 39" TV and the location of the mounting holes. The mounting frame is approximately 32 inches wide. Just bought a Insignia 55 inch and it weighs only 35 lbs. I like the whalen because of the width is only 41 inches. Would this light load of the tv mount to the stand.

This TV Console supports most flat-panel TVs up to 47" and weighing up to 135 lbs. We do not recommend mounting a bigger TV, even if the weight is under the maximum recommended.

Steve, this console supports most flat-panel TVs up to 47" and weighing up to 135 lbs. Use only with flat panel TVs and Audio/Video equipment meeting recommended size and weight limits. Never use with larger/heavier than recommended flat panel TVs or equipment.

My husband installed a 32" tv at our lake house yesterday on the stand and sent me a picture since I'm not there. It looks very high on the bracket. Is there any way to lower that?
