Is the acrylic stopper necessary? My TV is a Sony X85K and the stand/legs are towards the outside edge of the TV, there is nothing in the middle for the stopper to actually stop from sliding. I've attached a pic of the TV.

Can I transport this in a moving truck with my 65” OLED tv mounted to it as long as there’s nothing that can fall onto it?

Hi Geoff. We do not recommend it; if unable to disassemble unit, it will be best to remove the TV and glass shelves from the TV stand during transportation.
