Just purchased this model. Compressor has noticeable high pitched whine when running. Is this normal? Customer service said it was but I find it hard to believe they would make it that way.
Hello Tooloudforme, some noise is normal to hear when the compressor kicks on and starts cooling.

Is there a way to get the main refrigerator compartment to stay 37 degrees by blocking one of the holes between freezer and refrigerator? Snowflake 3 = 42 degrees, Snowflake 4 = 30 degrees. Adjusting the air flow knob varies temp by only 2 degrees
