Hi again - Can someone tell me the distance between the front of the unit and the back of the vent? I'm interested in the measurement of the distance indicated with the red line on this photo. Thanks! Leah

Hi Leah, Unfortunately we are not seeing the red line, here is the dimensional information Capacity(FT3,cubic feet) 1.10, Depth With Door Open 90 Degree (IN,inches) 42 1/8, Depth(IN,inches) 18 , Height (IN,inches) 10 5/16 , Width (IN,inches) 29 7/8 And here are the interior dimensions in Inches: Interior Depth 15, Interior Height 7, Interior Width 19. How long does a water filter last?
Hi Gaviota, it is recommended that you change the water filter every six months. If you have poor water conditions, you made to change it more often.

What is the recommended temperature bar? Also, the handle is loose after only 7 months of use. How do I tighten it? Thank you.

Hi, This question has been asked 2x and whirlpool has given two different answers. Once and for all does this microwave require that it is connected to an exterior vent ? Or can it recirculate back into the kitchen?

Sorry for the confusion Fiddle, the WMH53521HZ can be installed to either recirculate or vent externally. By default, the Microwave is set to Recirculate, but during installation it can be configured to vent outside. Unfortunately, this model Refrigerator does not come with the fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel.
