What is the best temperature to keep the freezer? Factory set says 0(zero) for the freezer... but that seems like it's too cold... Mind you I am used to the old freezers that had a turn dial for choice. It would only let me raise it 5 degrees. Thx

AC, the recommended setting would be 0. If that is too cold than we would recommend setting it to one setting higher. Please wait 24 hours before adjusting the temperature again. We hope this helps!

Is the ice made from purified water?

Erin, this Whirlpool® Refrigerator does have a filter so as long as you have a filter installed and it is a good filter, your ice will be made from filtered water.

Me again - I realize there is not a spare butter dish for this (thanks for answering that!) but are there spare shelves for the doors if I wanted a 6th space?
