why can;t you soak in this without it emptying. and also water comes in cold no matter where you put it.

Can you access ice from Inside the freezer if you have the door dispenser turned off? I don’t want toddlers playing with the dispenser but still want access to ice. Also, does the ice maker still make ice when the door dispenser is turned off?
