I want to do the cooking but I live with I my mother who has Alzheimer and she tries to cook. Could someone with very bad short term memory handle this. She burned bread in our old microwave. I got a t sensor to sense smoke. Does this have safety fearures

The Breville® BMO870 Combi Wave™ Microwave does not have a built in smoke detector or sensor.
Many commonly used options are pre-programmed to prevent over or under cooking, however selections will still need to be made regarding the quantity being cooked.

Does this unit required dedicated power outlet, or can it be placed in reach of any 110v outlet?

The Breville® BMO850 Smooth Wave™ Microwave will require a minimum of 11 amps, and we always recommend, though it is not required, that the Microwave be on it's own 110/120v outlet/circuit.

What happens if you have a 1.5 oz bag of popcorn ? Does the microwave just burn all the kernels since there is no weight adjustment ?

Can I use metal pans that I already have to cook in with this oven? Is it alright to line the bottom and sides of a metal baking pan with tin foil if to help minimize cleanup when I am baking chicken or lasagna or meatloaf or caserole and such?.

Verification from the pan manufacture of the safety and viability of the use of their pans in a Toaster Oven would need to be obtained prior to using them in the Breville® BOV900 Smart Oven® Air. Lining the pans with foil can be done but care must be taken to ensure the foil does not come close to the elements.

I would really like a microwave that is also an air fryer, toaster, convection oven and grill. I can do away with all those appliances and just have the one on my bench. Are you likely to design this?
