Can you air fry with the Smart Oven Pro?

No. While the BOV845 Smart Oven Pro has the convection function, it does not have the super convection (air fry) function. It is only the BOV860 Smart Oven Air Fryer and BOV900 Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro that have the Air Fry function.

I'm looking to place the unit inside a wood shelving unit. I would only have about 1/2 inch of space on the sides (plenty of room on top). Would this be safe or a fire hazard?

The BOV845 Smart Oven Pro does require clearance of at least 4" on each side, and 6" above the oven.
