People mention the air fryer function, but I don’t see it in the description. Does this have an air fryer function?
While the BOV845 Smart Oven Pro has the convection function, it does not have the Air Fry function. It's the BOV860 Smart Oven Air Fryer and BOV900 Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro that have the Air Fry function.

Can you program the microwave for 11 or 14 or 23 seconds? Or only in 30 second increments? I like to put things in for 10 seconds sometimes or 17 or 33.
No, the Breville® BMO870 Combi Wave™ can not be programmed for smaller increments like 11 or 14 seconds.

i would like to control panel light to stay on
The Breville® BMO870 Combi Wave™ will automatically dim after a certain amount of time of inactivity or non-use in order to save the LCD screen and prevent any burn out of it.

Where does the fat go when airfrying in the 3in1? In a standard airfryer the fat is collected in a compartment.
The Breville® BMO870 Combi Wave™ Microwave comes with both a crisper pan and a trivet. The trivet is placed in the crisper pan, the food on top of the trivet then the Air Fry function can engage. The pan will catch anything dripping from the food being air fried.
