Can messages be retrieved from any unit or just the base unit and more importantly can messages be deleted from ALL units?⁹
Lorie - Yes, messages recorded on the built in answering machine of the VTech IS8151-4 can be retrieved using the cordless handsets or telephone base. The answering system is shared on the system units. Messages deleted on one of the units will also be deleted on the whole system.

Can they be paired to Bluetooth wireless earbuds and do they have call forwarding capability
Hi - The VTech IS8151-4 can be paired to BT enabled headsets/earbuds. The telephone system is capable of call forwarding as long as you are subscribed to the service from your telephone service provider.

Is this monitor suppose to turn on when it detects movement and stay on for as long as there continues to be? Ours will turn off even while baby is still moving.
Hi - The VTech VM5242 does not have a motion detection feature. When the sound activation screen feature is set to On, the parent unit will turn on when it detects sounds on a certain level. The parent unit will then turn off when there is no sound activity within 50 seconds. You may need to turn off the sound activation feature for the parent unit to stay on at all times even when there is no sound activity from the baby unit.

My SN5127 will not dial the 10 digit phone number I programmed in the phone book. I do not have a home area code entered. It requires a “1” plus the 10 digits to properly dial call. Is there a setting required to allow 10 digit dialing?
Hi - The entries saved in the directory of the VTech SN5127 should be saved using the correct format. If you need to dial a phone number with a 1, then the entries should also be saved using the 11-digit format.

What is the expected or average distance for the "super long range" of a handset? Thank you.
Hi - The actual operating range of the VTech IS8151-5 may vary depending on the environmental conditions, and other interferences such as walls, doors, and electronic devices nearby.

When I am on a call on line 1 and someone else calls in, how do I get the second phone extension to ring line 2. Right now, I just hear the call waiting tone. I would like the second phone extension to ring when a second call comes in. How do I do this?

This cordless phone features built-in caller ID so you can know who is calling before you answer and a 30-name-and-number directory to store your most frequently used contacts.
Can you cut down the amount of time it rings on a vtech 6.0
Hi - The VTech CS6114 does not have a built in answering system. If you are referring to Voicemail, you need to contact your telephone service provider as it is a subscription from them.
