Check in on your little one with a large, 5-inch LCD screen on the VTech VM5254 Digital Video Baby Monitor with Night Light. Plus, you can make sure your infant is cozy by monitoring the nursery temperature that’s displayed right on the large 5” LCD screen. Best of all, you can check in during nap time or after dark thanks to automatic infrared night vision.
Is there a way to turn the temperature feature on/off? I’ve had this for a month and the temperature no longer shows up on the screen (which is specifically why I bought this model). I’ve looked through the menu but could not find a way to fix it.

Kelsey - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech VM5254. You may need to reboot your baby monitor by powering off the parent and baby unit. Wait for 1 minute before powering them on, then test the unit again. Hi - The VTech DS6251-2 does not have a light that will flash when there are new Voicemail messages. The same goes to other VTech phones. Instead, the screen will display "New Voicemail" when there are new Voicemail messages recorded through your telephone service provider.

Steve - The VTech DS6101 is an accessory handset only.. It requires registration to a telephone base model VTech DS6151. The telephone base has a port for an RJ11/RJ14 telephone line installation.

Can i talk parent unit to parent unit if I want to use this more as an intercom? We have one office downstairs, one upstairs and want to be able to communicate. We would use the base/child monitor only when our granddaughter is here...

Can this phone block numbers?
