I don't know a lot about surround sound systems, but I know that some systems incorporate an AV receiver or an amplifier that powers the speaker system. Is this something that is required with this system if I am connecting it to an HDTV? Or is the amplifier part of the sound bar or something? Thank you!
This system can be connected to an amplifier but it is not necessary. It can be connected directly to the television.
