Can this replace an HTS receiver?

I want to operate my DirecTV, an Xbox, and a bluray player through this and remove my HTS receiver which is not working correctly. Is this possible?
There is one HDMI and one optical audio input. However, keep in mind that your Blu- ray player, Xbox, and Direct TV box would normally output sound to the TV itself, so really you only need to connect the TV to the soundbar to make all of these items work.

Is there a toggle to disable/enable the touchpad mouse on the Satellite Radius 11.6?

Typically, I have a problem on my current laptop with accidentally brushing the touchpad while trying to type documents, thus causing the cursor to skip around. Is there a way to toggle the touchpad on and off while using the Satellite Radius as a laptop word processor? If so, is it a hot key that can be pressed quickly as I go back and forth between tasks, or something I need to navigate through the settings menus to find each time? Will I still be able to navigate via the touchscreen, while using the keyboard with the touchpad disabled (so, not switching to tablet mode entirely, just disabling the touchpad only)?
