Power off at Breaker?

would you need to turn off the power/breaker to install this range hood? I'm a woman trying to figure out if I can replace my old vent hood myself or if I need to pay them to install it for me. Thank you

Any type of installation that involves a range should include turning off the breaker and shutting off the gas if applicable.
