Rotor needed?

It's been a while since we purchased an antenna … they used to require rotors inside to turn the antenna. I see some are multi-directional, which obviously do NOT need rotors, but what about this style? Does it stay fixed in one spot or need a rotor to turn it?

Can anyone who has bought this phone from BB online verify that it is G850M unlocked and NOT the G850A (AT&T) version? They are very different phones. See review by Ricky - says it's AT&T branded, in which case he has the 850A and doesn't know it. The 850M is a better phone for US carrier networks, based on the specs.
