Windows 8

Does this extender work with Windows 8? I can see this network extender show up on my wireless network connection but it won't allow me to connect. It ask for the password so I use the primary modem password and it won't connect.

I want to use two of these monitors, but the machine I'm getting has only 1 VGA port and 1 HDMI port. So to use two of these, for a dual monitor setup, I need to connect one with HDMI, and one with VGA. Will it accept either one?
No, it only has DVI-D with HDCP and VGA inputs.
