No, the case on this PC only has room for 1 internal 5.25" drive. An additional optical drive could be added to this system externally using a USB connection.

Can you text to someone's phone through this tablet..we just have regular cell phones we do not have an I phone...can this be done without me having an I phone and just the regular flip phones that carry my sim card?

No you cannot use a tablet to text. It has no phone functions.
