Does this laptop have a keyboard backlight? Is the dvd drive loud while playing a movie?
This particular laptop does not include a backlit keyboard. As for the DVD drive, the drive itself is not loud, however if you are trying to run multiple applications while watching a movie you may experience noise coming from the laptop's cooling fan.

I have a WD MyCloud external hard drive connected to home network. I know with my Samsung TV I can access this hard drive to watch the movies on it using a Samsung wifi adapter. I would like to watch the contents of my hard drive on a Sharp TV that doesn't have wifi. Will this device allow me to access my network hard drive?
You would only be able to access it with a Wifi-enabled device, but there may be a WiFi adapter available for your Sharp TV depending on the model.
