There is only a trial version of Microsoft Office installed. A full version would need to be purchased.

Product keys can be found in a number of locations. First see if there is a sticker included on the underside of the laptop, the product key will be listed toward the bottom. If there is no visible sticker, you can access the product key by using a product key finder program such as Belarc Advisor. Install the program as instructed and it will extract the product key from the Windows Registry.

Are you able to downgrade to Windows 7? I want to be able to play Sims 2 on it and I've heard there are compatibility issues with Windows 8.
You can downgrade this laptop to Windows 7, though this procedure might affect your warranty. You will need a copy of the Windows 7 installation disc.
