why would the screen constantly blackout while watching blueray or playing xbox360 through either of the HDMI Outlets

It may be an issue with your HDMI cord.

Why do some models have a sticker that says can not wash waterproof items?

I went to another retailer to look at LG models (Top load). They all had a sticker that said, "Do not wash waterproof items such as mattress pads, mats, clothing etc". I asked the sales girl and she said someone told her the items will stretch out. She pointed me to a Samsung that did not have this disclaimer and that actually had a setting for "waterproof". Can anyone tell me if it is all LG top load models as I was considering the "wave force" model that best buy sells. Does anyone know what that is about?

This model is not equipped with a waterproof setting and would be included in the list of units that have a disclaimer against putting waterproof items in there.

Do I have to activate the 4G?

I can use this as a wifi only computer, right? If I do that will the price change?

The price you see is with a 2 year contract, so it would be significantly more if you wanted to buy it outright for Wi-Fi use only.

is the video card upgradeable and what type of cooling does it have

i would like to upgrade the video card to a 780ti and maybe sli in the future is the motherboard sli ready? What type of cooling does it have can it be overclocked?

I cheked the official Lenovo site and they don't have U530 Touch with 1TB Hard Drive. How can you have it?
