Only a 60HZ refresh rate?

Is the lower refresh rate of 60HZ a drawback for motion especially watching sporting events?
Should I consider getting the 240 HZ or is that not necessary for the smaller 40inch set?

If watching a lot of sporting events is important you should upgrade to at least a 120 Hz unit, with 240 Hz being ideal.
