It says at www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/insignia/fire-tv-edition-4k/settings "If you find HDR content too dim you can set the Mid Luminance Gamma setting to '-5', which will brighten most scenes." If I do this will SDR still be OK?

The Fire TV Edition television supports HDR10 and plays non HDR content as well.

IIf you want to turn HDR Tone Mapping ON/OFF on the Fire TV Edition TV, do the following steps:
Press and hold the Home Button for 3 seconds on the voice remote (included) to display the Quick Access menu. Select Picture > Advanced Settings > HDR Tone Mapping ON/OFF.

can I use the existing 24 volt wire R and JUMPER it to the C terminal instead of the exterior power. if so do I have to remove Rc and R jumper that is required on my old one, Rc IS FOR COOL
