I did NOT want a smart watch, i wanted something that did basic fitness and had a battery, not a daily or weekly chargeable. Garmin ViviFit2 does just that. Plus I can wear it kayaking! Do not like the Garmin Coonect and that only select few Bluetooth. But that's OK.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had a Galaxy Tab I I 8 Gb. Realized that after a year of android updates 8 Gb was inadequate. Avoided Tab III, because one could not move apps to SD card. Waited until Tab I came out. Purchased 16 Gb at $149.00 with sales and Best Buy certificates. Which makes it a good value and perfectly suits my needs.

Audible alarm
Can the audible alarm be turned off? Turned on later when needed? I saw this statement. Alerts you when you have been inactive for 1 hour, with additional segments lighting up for every 15 minutes of inactivity. Walk for a few minutes to reset the alarm.
Don't know if it can be turned off, but it is so minimal, you'll hardly notice if you want to ignore it. Otherwise I would have not liked it and found a way to turn it off, if its possible.

do you need to be connected to a computer to work this product?
NO, another reason I like it, all functions work without connecting.

How long is the band?
Comes with two bands, a smaller and a larger one. One should fit most.

i heard that Samsung hangs terribly after using for 6 months is that true???
I had the Tab I I 8 Gb with no problems. The Tab IV Pro hung at first, until the Hearts card game I had updated. I thought it was
the tablet, until I saw the fix to the Hearts game was to prevent hanging. Apparently that one card game app had to be updated to the new version of android on my Tab IV vs my previous Tab II.

Can this Tablet be used as a reader like the Kindel even in direct sunlight?
I was told that this tablet could be used as a reader and that Kindel books could be downloaded to it. Could someone please verify this information.
Yes m I have both the Nook reader app and the Kindle app. For books from both of my Barnes and Noble and Amazon Prime accounts.
