This was bought by my 10 year old. It is similar to the ones she uses at school. It had difficulty connecting to her account at school. Videos online helped solve the problem though. Works fine since.

I came in looking for an upgraded graphics card and found quite a few in my price range. I didn't know all of the facts about each but the staff was helpful. In the end, we narrowed it down to 2 very similar models and I went with this particular version.
Aside from having to remove an extra slot protector in my computer, this card dropped right in and my computer immediately recognized it - downloaded the drivers and off I went. No issues, playing my games on max settings finally.

I am not a heavy cell phone user. I use it mostly for calls, texts and to check my email. This Windows 8 phone is very easy to use and meets all of my requirements. I went to a Best Buy Mobile store to purchase it and the clerk transferred all of my old phone data over to this one and I got to keep my phone number. This is a great phone for a basic user.

Amazon Fire TV is the big brother to the Fire TV stick. Both are plug and play simple, but the Fire TV has more memory and a voice search function on the remote. I am no tech expert, but the set up was simple. As long as you are an Amazon Prime member, you'll get lots of access to tv, apps, games and movies. I added Netflix for $8 a month and then canceled my expensive cable tv. As long as you're not bound by live sports and local news via tv, this was fine.

can you get nbc,cbs,fox etc.
Not live as far as I can tell. I got a digital receiver for my local channels for a few bucks and just swap back and forth if I need some current local news or a live sport.

I have followed all directions but get no smart tv it just goes back to station that was on tv when starting this process...
can't fiigure out what I am doing wrong. I have 4 HDMI ports. My cable box is plugged into #2. I plugged FireTV into #4. Does this make a difference?
I assume you'll need to change your TV input to HDMI #4 for this to work. For cable tv, you'll need to change it back to input #2.

Fire vs smart tv?
Is this box essentially converting a HDMI TV to a smart TV? What is the difference between a smart tv and a dumb tv with a Amazon?

Both ym tv's are "dumb" tv's. I have the Stick on one and Fire TV on the other. It does basically make your tv a smart tv. You can run apps, Netflix, HULU etc. on your TV. You do need an HDMI input on the TV for these to work though.

What is the differerance between the fire stick and the five tv box
The simple answer is Fire TV has more available memory for apps and the voice search option for the remote. I have a Fire TV and a Fire Stick, both work fine on their respective TV's. I use more apps with the Fire TV and just watch tv and Netflix with the Fire Stick. Get the stick. If you like it and need extra memory for apps, then buy a Fire TV for a second tv in your house.
