My verdict is still out on this stick drive. I'm waiting to see if it is tough enough to last. It is a very fast drive and downloads/uploads literally in a second or less. I like that a lot, I has lots of capacity at 32 gigs and Best Buy had it on sale at a great price for the size when I bought it. It is also quite small. The down side is that the entire drive is plastic including the male USB plug. That is my major concern-- this is the first and only flash drive that I've seen that doesn't have a plug made of metal-- this one is plastic and the plastic is not thick at all. It also seems like it is a very tight fit when you slide it into the USB port almost to the point where it seems like you might be forcing it. I keep envisioning the plug snapping off inside the USB port of my computer and becoming impossible to remove. So, I don't know whether I would recommend this drive at this juncture. I am saying yes I would right now but it is provisional. If it does end up breaking off inside of a USB port, I will be kicking myself for using it, but so far it has worked fine.

Is the plastic usb port connector on the flashdrive as durable as the metal ones?
The part of the flash drive that goes into the pc USB port is plastic. All other flash drives have metal ones. Is this as durable as metal?
That is my concern as well and I don't know the answer. The plastic does seem very thin to me for this purpose. However, I know that depending on formulation, different plastics can have dramatically different strengths and I have to think that someone engineered this particular plastic before making the drive. At least, I certain hope they did. If not, I think we all have wasted our money.
