I have had wired/wireless headphones to watch TV programs, etc., but always returned them because they were too heavy, bulky, uncomfortable, etc. I saw these Sony on a weekend sale, read the reviews, and purchased them. These are keepers! They are very comfortable and easy to adjust, and the sound is excellent. They paired up with no problems to my new LG OLED which I also purchased from BB. You charge them with a included USB cord to your computer. The charge lasts a long time.

The color and vividness on this LG is second to none. I really research anything I buy, and when the price came down substantially on this LG, I took the plunge. I did have to tweek the settings to get the picture I saw at BB, but after that, I just sit now and enjoy the experience. One annoying thing that happens occasionally is the TV re-setting itself after it gets updates via WIFI. A message pops up saying this is about to happen, but happens quickly so you can not cancel that upgrade until a later time. Maybe there is a setting to adjust this, but I have not gone through all of the many settings this TV has. This should not deter you from wanting to purchase this set. I could get into more specifics, but you can read the over 1000+ reviews of the B7 and C7 for yourself on BB's site.

Had an older pair of Bose computer speakers and bought these newer ones thinking there would be a major sound difference. I was wrong. My older ones sound just like the newer model, so I took them back to BB for a refund. I would say buy these if you have a different brand of computer speakers. Bose sound is excellent.

I purchased the Sony player when I got an e-mail from BB announcing a special 3 day sale for $30 under any of the major competition. Like many of the reviewers stated, this player is heavy and built well. I have a Sony TV (newer model), so when I put a DVD into the player, my TV automatically switches to the right input without having to push the input button on the remote. The picture quality is excellent, and it streams well also. This machine also up converts your non blue-ray DVD's. I know I will have this unit for a long time. I am very pleased with the player.

The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is for 3 reasons: 1) The cables that come with the Vizio 5.1 surround system have a connector on the end, so you can NOT send the cable up through the base of the stands and up the pole to connect to the speaker. The speaker cable and stand poles are black, so I just colored a twisty tie black with a marker and tied the cable to near the base of the stand. 2) I have thick carpeting, so it was a little difficult to have the stands standing perfectly straight. 3) The speakers themselves just sit on the top of the pole on a small square base, so if bumped, they can fall off. They could be secured with some double stick tape if you are worried about them being bumped into, especially if you have kids or pets, but they are, in most cases behind your couch, or at least against a wall. These stands are adjustable, so that helps a lot also.There is a variety of hardware included, depending on the size of your satellite speakers, and the way you want to install them.

My reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was because of an issue with the length of the cable to connect the satellite speakers to the wireless sub woofer. I e-mailed Vizio asking if they had longer cables than the 13' cables that come with the system. They said no, so I fixed the problem using cables and connectors I had lying around after years of buying and installing various sound systems over the years. One that was done, the system sounds awesome, and really fills up the room with full bodied sound. You can tweak every aspect of the system from the main center channel speaker to the sub woofer to the satellite speakers. I had recently purchased a 38" Vizio sound bar which I thought was good, but this total 5.1 42" Vizio package blows that other one away. Installation is easy, and the instructions are plain and clear. I did have to buy stands for the satellite speakers, but purchased them from Best Buy also so as to get everything shipped all at the same time.

I purchased these at the same time I bought my new TV. I bought 2 cables. One for my U-Verse box to the TV, and one for my Blueray player to the TV. The employee who sold me these said that they are the latest thing out that can handle the 4K signal the best. I know there is not much 4K content out there yet, but it is coming, so I just purchased these now instead of waiting.

I was in the market for a new TV. I have a 50" Samsung which is around 7 yrs old. The Samsung is a highly rated TV, so I was looking for another Samsung or a Vizio. After talking to a very knowledgable Best Buy employee ( I had all my questions and specs on different TV's written down), he asked me what I am into when it comes to watching TV. I told him, and he steered me to the Sony (which I was not even considering because of price, etc). End result was, even though the Sony was a little more than the other units, it was easily the hands down one to buy. The most difficult part was putting the stand for the
TV together. The Sony manual is terrible, and the print so small, I almost needed a magnifying glass. (putting the stand together is definetely a 2 person job) After that, the rest was easy. The picture is fantastic, and the speakers are fine. I looked into buying a soundbar, but in my case, it would have to be placed on the same stand as the TV, basically covering up the bottom of the TV screen. I do have a surround sound system, so I can really crank up a movie, etc. if I want to do that. I still have not "played" entitrely with all the features, but trust me on this: the picture will blow your mind away. Look at the customer reviews for this model. It has something like 2000+ 4.6 to 4.7 out of 5 rating. The most reviews of any 4K TV in the 55" range. I also have to give thanks to a second Best Buy employee who also gave me good information. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

Had an older HP which originally came with Vista, then upgraded to W7. W7 is excellent, so I was not crazy about getting this model with W8.1. I also knew W10 is right around the corner, so I jumped at the chance to get this unit at $100 off the regular price. This unit is incredibly faster when booting up, and the tower is much smaller, but also much more powerful than my old HP. Will be upgrading to W10, so overall this was a very good purchase for me. This is not a unit with all the bells and whistles, but perfect for my needs.

Are these compatible with Sonos play 1 speakers?
The instructions that come with the stands say they can hold up to 4 LBS. Mine are a little over 1LB, so no problem for me.
