Was debating this model vs Pro. When I realized handwriting recognition is not built into iOS yet I purchase this with a 3rd party stylus and app off the App Store.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased the Arlo Pro system to replace a Foscam camera and ultimately increase the number of cameras. this works so much better than the Foscam. The App is cleaner and faster. No random cameras from China showing up in the feed as was the case with the Foscam.
Only two reasons not to give it four and not five stars include:
1. Geofencing still in beta.
2. Can't create modes (home, away, etc) that incorporate time frames. For instance, would like living room camera to record during the night when asleep but not during the day when system in Home mode.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Are these still being produced or manufactured?

Unfortunately, no. The whole Artistry line was discontinued. It is very cool. Luckily, i was able to find a white set before they disappeared even though I wish I had gotten a gas range instead of electric.

There are other options like Big Chill but they are definitely more expensive.
