After 2 weeks, it's just starting to show fabric wear at the edge, but it should be a few months before I do a 180 turn to wear the other pad edge. It should have an average life span from others I have used.

I finally decided to upgrade (from Vista, LOL) and looked for a bargain, but with upgrades from the usual memory & processors. This computer fits all my needs and I should be happy for years. Learning Win 8.1 has taken time, but there are ways to have it look "old" and familiar. And yes, it's loaded with bloatware as are all the others.

My old web cam was no longer compatible with Win 8.1, so for my occasional use, I needed a replacement. This cam size in unintrusive and light weight. It easily fits securely on top of a flat screen monitor with swivel adjustments for left/right, up and down. The color quality is very good and the image clarity is much better than my old cam.

What's great about it: many features & good window mounting system.
What's not so great: says my house is way up the street, so maps guess a little.
A nice upgrade from an old Tomtom. I do like the split screen that give some highway exit views. You have to take for granted that the addresses may not be exactly where you are taken. House numbers may be off some. Not the the fault of Garmin, as many of map providers have the same problem. Some software map upgrades may take a couple of hours, so plan in advance of a trip (I check quarterly).
