What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: May need more ports
Although they call it a switch, I would have called this unit a hub or bus. No matter, need to remember that one port is for input. Very easy to install, just plug and play, easy. There is no software to install or need to use your computer at all. Flashing lights easily indicate when connections are made. Small and light weight, easy to hide away out of view and out of your way. The price was good also, I expected to pay more.

What's great about it: Convenient and easy to set up and use.
I purchased this emergency power device for my teenage daughter. You can imagine how forgetful teenagers can be about such mundane things as charging devices. It's almost like they think they operate on magic. Anyway, I wanted to be sure she always had power available for her phone, especially for emergencies.

Can this be used a a router
Can this be used with a cable modem as a router in a wired home network?
It's not a router, it allows you to connect your router to other CAT 5 lines in your wired home though. Think of this as a hub for you router to connect other outlets in you home.
