What's great about it: Price was better than amazon, great software for Mac
After moving to dual monitors I wanted a mouse for my MacBookPro Retina. The Logitech software let me set up the mouse to do everything I can do with the trackpad using it's buttons and wheel. 'Tilting' the wheel to side scroll is fantastic. It's so easy to get used to the features and still be able to switch back and forth.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great Price, 1080p with HDMI and VGA input
What's not so great: No DVI-D connector
I needed another monitor for my MacBookPro Retina to make editing easier with Final Cut Pro X. Set-up is just plugging in and it's 1080p which means that I can see my work in full resolution. Having the larger monitor instead of just a section of my regular screen allows me to see mistakes that I've missed in the past. Color balance and contrast are easily set using utilities that are included with OS X.

When I connected the HDMI Cable

I have no sound when I connected the HDMI Cable
The monitor does not have speakers.
