I only purchased this to have a matched set as I had to buy a new washer. It performs very well, and is large enough to handle anything I will need to wash/dry. I am extremely happy, but then it has only been a few weeks, so hopefully I will be saying this in the months and years ahead.
I would recommend this to a friend!

could I wash a queen size comforter?

I need to be able to wash my big comforters at home and also be able to dry them.
Absolutely. It will fit easily without stuffing. I had to wash sleeping bags in it, only one at a time, but they are very bulky and there was plenty of room.

Power cord for washer

I just got back from buying this set and read the description a little closer and the site says the washer does not come with a power cord. Is this correct? I bought the water hoses, dryer cord, and dryer vent from Best buy so they would do the install but they didnt offer the power cord. The website doesnt prompt me to buy a power cord either. So I just want to verify that I do need to buy one and does Best buy carry it? If so whats the item #?

The washer came with the power cord already on the machine, but the dryer did not have one and we had to purchase one and attach to dryer.

can i use powdered detergent

Yes. You only need to take out the liquid tray in the drawer for laundry additives, and you can put the powder detergent in the cavity.

Is the washer door reversible to hinge on right hand side?

Washer door is not reversible, but dryer door is.
