What's great about it: You get a drive plus extras; sata cable, screws, cloning software cd
What's not so great: Cloning software only accepts older Seagate (Maxtor) drives.
I recommend this drive for its' affordability plus the extras in which Western Digital doesn't wish to provide you. They could rule the market if they're clone software as such Western Digital didn't care who made the old drive and just clone your disk so you can move own.

Would this work in my Dell Inspiron 570 along with the hard drive that came with my Dell

Yes, I recommend "Paragon Backup 2014 Free edition".
