Over Fireplace?

Would this work for a mount over fireplace? You wouldn't have the cords running strict down, it would have to jog over to the side of the fireplace to a plug in??
Yes it would work..... You will have to cut out sheetrock and drill holes in your wall studs or drill a hole in your top plate of the wall to pass the wires. If you have basic construction knowledge, it should take a few hours. If you are not comfortable doing yourself, you should consider hiring a contractor.
