What's great about it: Tested and works at greater distance than I need
What's not so great: Long case for the rear of the laptop.
Works perfectly so far for a month. Added a dummy plug to a port beside it for support against bumping the unit.
This product has... Fast connection, Dual band, Reliable connection

Printer make it wireless

Can I hook this to a printer and make my printer wireless
No. If that is a simple wifi adapter for a pc, it has the large wide connector for a pc usb port. Your printer probably has a small squarish port for a usb device end. Dell and Linksys and maybe Belkin have printer usb wifi adapters with the wide usb port for connecting a short usb cable to the printer. Some adapter may have the right connector built on for your printer port without using a cable. Search on Printer USB WIFI Adapter and look at the pictures.
