What's great about it: it's got great capacity, you'd be hard pressed to fill it up.
What's not so great: nothing, it's just fine.
The capacity was perfect. We would go out and shoot a week's worth of pictures on our European vacation and would download them, and then we would be back out shooting - we never came close to filling up the card.
This product has... Reliable, Fast recording/download speed, Large capacity/good size
About me... Budget Conscious, don't want to hassle with small capacities.

What's not so great: the flash is a little hairtrigger
We took it to Europe with us, and relied on it for ease of use. Carrying lots of stuff often, we needed a camera with one-hand point-and-click potential, and this camera does it.

Does it come with a Write program? I am a story writer.

I use MS-Word for writing profusely. You know, I am trying to remember if it had a version of Word already installed, and I think it did - one of their trial versions that you have to pay for later on. Anyhow, if you write a lot, and if you haven't yet used Word, well, there are other programs but Word really is the industry standard.
If you are concerned about price (you are buying a computer with a pretty hefty price tag, no?), why don't you download one of the free word processors - Mozilla, the proprietors of Firefox, have a good one called "LibreOffice Writer", but there are a bunch of them that are compatible with Windows 10. Difference between a 2.0 and a 3.0 usb port

At the risk of sounding incredibly dumb, I need to know what the difference is between a 2.0 usb port and a 3.0 usb port. I THINK I have a 3.0 port on my computer but I am not sure. I also need a usb flash drive that is NOT compatible with Windows 8. Is the PNY - Turbo Plus 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive compatible with Windows 8?
I asked the geek squad person this same question. The response was: the 3.0 is about 10 times faster than the 2.0. The 2.0 is good for back up and files that don't need that quick an exchange, but the 3.0 is essential for anything else.
This one is compatible with Windows 8.

no, i haven't used it in this way. I don't think it would be a problem, though, if you need it as a back-up.
