Pros: large scanning bed, comes with some masks for film, fast operation
Cons: at max settings a scan takes almost an hour, and the UI is a bit clunky here and there
Overall: it's a steal of a scanner that I would recommend, and I would suggest buying a few more film masks for 110 format(does cover 35, slides, and few more types)
I would recommend this to a friend!

I want to scan medical prescriptions for rescue info, can it scan 8x11 sheets of paper, and be charged on vehicle shore line ?

The bed fits an 8X11 paper, not sure what you mean by the second part of the question but it plugs into a wall outlet

Does this scanner scan 110 slides?

You just need to buy the correct film mask/holder

Price

Everytime I go to buy an Epson scanner from the site, the price changes. I wanted to buy the V370 and the price went up, and today it is down again. I want to buy the V550 but it has gone up $30. When wuill it be coming back down again, and for how long ?

Can I add tags to each scanned photo? If so, how is that done?

Not really, if you want to tag photos directly, just import them into lightening or something like that
