I have a laptop I use for media. It is connected to flat screen TV to watch videos on. It is a pain to go back and forth though. I was going to get a wireless mouse when I saw this. Just what I needed. It is nice and compact and feels like a laptop keyboard and it has a large mousepad with buttons. I don't like tapping and turned it off. The instructions didn't work. It connects but is not shown as device name but as other. You download the software to change options like turning off tapping. To me tapping is annoying, any time you put down your finger too hard it counts as a tap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got it for videos and gaming, casual games. The screen is great for both. The i5 processor and 6 GB of RAM doesn't hurt either. And there is plenty of hard drive space.

It seems bigger than 11.6" which is nice. The ability to fold it into a tablet was something I was thinking about and when shown this model I was easily sold. I've been reading about this and it works as well as I've read. Lenovo gets good marks and I've owned many brands over the years and think this is as good as any I've had.

I like to sit on the patio during the summer and I wanted to watch my Blu-ray and DVD's while out there on my laptop. This is just what I needed, nice and small and plays the disks just fine. It was just what I needed.

What's great about it: Allows greater range on my WiFi
I sit outside in a gazebo most of the summer and use my laptop. My WiFi just didn't reach quite well enough, 2 or 3 bars. Broke down and got the extender. Easy to set up and gives me 5 bars and works just great.

What's great about it: Signal is great, no tracking problems
What's not so great: No complaints
The trackpad on my laptop is large and when I type I hit the trackpad causing problems. So if I am doing extensive typing, I turn off trackpad and use this trackball instead. It works as soon as you plug it in, no problems. I like trackballs, less real estate is needed to use one and I think it is better on the carpal tunnel thing. I also believe that you can be more accurate with a trackball then a mouse.

What's great about it: I can transfer files from my S4 without connecting to computer.
What's not so great: Mini connector too short.
I don't like connecting cameras or phones to computers. I've heard of problems occurring and I don't need more problems. When I heard of this device, I was very happy and went looking for it. I could not see it with the other SD's. A Best Buy Associate took me right to it. This device is tiny, I was expecting something with 2 connectors to be much bigger which is why I had trouble spotting it. I got it home and tried to plug into USB on my Samsung S4 but it would not reach thru the Otter Box. I had to take the Otter Box off to use. I had to clean it anyway but I think this is pain if you are going to use it often. Since many phones are in protective cases, I believe SD should extend the length of the mini connector. Other than that, everything was great. The device was recognized and I was able to easily transfer anything I wanted.

i am a new user of laptops, but i can get around FAIR, What would be a good laptop to purchase?

want to use for games, work such as looking up maintenance manuals, and documentation,set up personal graphs, music, movies, juast beginner type things but also would like to keep this laptop for a long time and want it to be fast, please help ,THANKYOU!
You want an i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, minimum and 1 TB harddrive. A 15.6" screen would be good. Brand is up to you.

Download LibreOffice for free, it recognizes and saves to Office formats. It is slower, but it is free.

Would connection through a floor be an issue?

My computer in my room typically has poor connection to the router, and occasionally, the connection drops. I was thinking about getting a WiFi booster for my room, which has a floor in between it and the router. First of all, would this solve the problem? Also, would the floor interfere with the connection to the booster?
You need to put the extender between you and the router. I like being outside with my laptop and had horrible signal. I got a netgear extender and life is fine. 5 bars.
