What's great about it: THEY ARE FAST, KNOW WHAT TO DO, CLEAN AND INSTRUCTIVE.
What's not so great: EXPENSIVE, BUT WORTH IT.
AGAIN, I HAVE HD THE GEEK SUAD TO MY HOUSE TO NSTALL MY 55" SAMSUNG SMART TV, WITH SOUND BAR AND HARMONY ULTIMATE REMOTE (TWICE), SAMSUNG DVD PLAYER WITH HDMI, TOSHIBA DVD/VHS RECORDER/TAPE COPIER.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: I AM ABLE TO COPY MY VHS TAPES ONTO DVDS.
What's not so great: IT IS LARGE FOR THE CURRENT SIZE OF RECODERS.
I LIKE IT PLAYS MY VHS TAPES AND DVDS AND COPIES MY VHS TAPE TO DVD EFFORTLESSLY.

What's great about it: TURNS ON AND OFF SLECTED ITEMS.
What's not so great: BUTTONS DON'T USUSALLY WORK. TOO DIFFICULT TO SET-UP MYSELF.
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT REMOTE WHEN IT WORKS. YOU NEED SOMEONE TO SET IT UP. GEEK SQUAD COST IS $100.00 I HAD TO PAY IT TWICE WHEN ANOTHER REMOTE DID NOT WORK. I HOPE TO GET MINE COVERED UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY I PURCHASED. HOWEVER, IT WILL ENTAIL HIRING THE GEEK SQUAD AGAIN AND HOPE NEXT ONE IS N'T WORSE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can it transfer SVHS tapes to DVD?

In addition to transferring VHS Tapes to DVD, I would like to use this device to transfer SVHS to DVD. Can it do it?
I HAVE NEVER SEEN AN SVHS TAPE, SORRY.
