I hooked it up with the directions and placed it within the recommended area. The unit showed all green lights so it was getting a good signal from my router. I was using it as a signal booster and it shows a great signal with all four bars but doesn’t get online. I’ve tried restarting from the beginning twice and it still won’t work to get online. Don’t waste your money, get a different brand, this one is useless

Will this work with an HP printer using the ethernet connection?

No it does not!! This product is useless, get a different brand. Netgear used to be a good brand, I don’t know what happened to them. This product is cheaply made and over priced for something that doesn’t work
