I bought it so I could stream directly from JW.TV.Org so I could watch the channel broadcast by Jehovah's Witnesses...and it installed flawlessly...oh, it has all the other channels too...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great item...we've used it several times and it really does the job...one can also run sound through this little gadget as well with a 3.5mm cable ...

Lightning Adaptors

Just bought an Ipad air and tried to connect it to a computer monitor with an hdmi adaptor. Great picture but no sound, do I need to use a VGA adaptor instead as I believe this will allow the ipad to still use its speakers?

or use a 3.5mm cable from ipad headphone jack out to the computer...

Does this have a Cable type plugin in the rear of the modem?

Like my current ISP provided one does?
This modem is designed for cable, so yes it does have a coaxial connection of the back of it.....
