We have tile floors and this little gadget works phenomenal to pickup everything.
Only drawback is that you have to discard vacuumed items after each use. My kids dont always want to do that!
I would recommend this to a friend!

lithium or nicad battery

lithium or nicad battery? If nicad, any problems with battery memory if use only occasionally but leave plugged in?
No problems with battery. I leave mine plugged in all the time and can use it for all jobs without any slowdown.
