I have been using Garmin GPSs for few years starting with the basic 50 series. Garmin GPSs never disappointed me. I needed new one so I decided to go for the 2557. It's still basic but including some added features.
One thing that I dislike about all Garmin GPSs. It's the poor quality mount. I believe they can do much better for the default mount piece.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good brand for simple use in small apartments. not good for big houses.

What is range of the wifi with this modem, can I go on the patio with it?
