Great product. Clean low bass and sounds extremely great when paired with the Sonos sound bar. Easy setup. Only downside is the black glossy finish, it attracts dust particles.

At first I was skeptical about this holding such a weight from my Sonos play 5 2nd gen against the wall. But after proper mounting it hold really great, strong metal and easy swivel horizontal. Looks neat compared to other manufacturers.

Great product, I would recommend this for your sonos speaker system. The boost gives you a stronger and better range than regular WiFi because the frequency is different. It's frequency is so strong that it gives me 2 floors down in a building. This is a must have product.

This is a great product. I've own several western digital portable hard drive and they are really durable. This 3.0 version is a lot faster and more quieter than the previous models I owned. 3.0 files accessibility is amazing, and I'm looking forward for the larger capacity drive.

Installing Sonos with "Boost"

The sales clerk advised us that we had to get Boost and should also get a new router (Netgear) to attach it to. (We've been using whatever Time Warner provided and don't have sufficient speed or range.) Netgear isn't recognizing the Boost, and I have been unable to install the Sonos as a result. What gives? Would appreciate advice. It's frustrating.
It's best to use the ethernet connection from your router to the boost. You don't need a new router, the time Warner works just fine. If you are worried about range don't cause the range on the boost is excellent and it's a different frequency to WiFi.

Outside distance range?

I was hoping to set-up a Play 3 speaker outside; approximately 125' from Boost and Ethernet connections. Do you think this setup would work?

FALLING

I bought it in january 2014. My WD fall down, and now I cant get access to the data, what can I do? I live in Argentina! Thanks for your help! This is the product I bought: WD - My Passport Ultra external disc USB 30 de 2 TB - black - WDBMWV0020BBKNESN
If the led light comes on then there's a possibility you can get access to your data with certain recovery programs like stellar data recovery although the OS may not recognize the drive. Here's the link you can look at http://www.stellarinfo.com
