It had been about 20 years or so since I had to replace my portable CD player, but I had an accident resulting in the death of my old player (a Kenwood). I was glad to see Best Buy carried a model. Priced right at $25 or so, this player does all that I can expect of it. Sound is perfect, the headphones feel comfortable and it doesn't skip. What more can I say!

This is a perfect machine to convert LP's and cassettes to CD. Recording volume control minimizes distortion from loud recordings. There is a slight learning curve - for example, one can't make the slightest mistake when using CD-R discs or one has to throw the disc away! - but I got over it in due course. Sound quality is adequate. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a way to convert albums to disc.

These headphones deliver great sound with good bass without the hassle of wires. With three broadcast channels one can always find a clear channel, i.e., no interference, and with auto tuning it's not necessary to fine tune the reception. Only complaint is that at times the sound seems to drop off when the headphones aren't lined up properly.

Will this CD player work if it's propped up at an angle? I want to use it on the treadmill at the gym. The treadmill has a tray that would hold a book or an IPad at an angle. Will the CD still work if it's not laying flat?

Does the 3 channels option allow me to setup a tv and ipad
How would I go about setting up the earphones so that I could use the headphones with either the tv and iPad by simply changing the channels? Is there any additional equipment needed to do this?
You can only connect to one item at a time unless you have a common amp or receiver that you can connect your tv and iPad to.

Does your sound bar have a headphone jack? If so then yes. If not, then you will have to plug into your TV or stereo.

Is there a way to connect the system to earbuds?
our elderly user finds the ear phones too heavy. Earbuds would solve the problem. She is hard of hearing and these work great except for the weight.
No. You can buy blue tooth ear buds if you want, but that's totally different technology.

how many watts does it put out.
These are headphones, not speakers. Wattage is important if you have speakers, not so important if you want to hear anything after using headphones.
