What's great about it: 60X zoom
What's not so great: No Raw and wireless only supports Android
Nikon has finally got a super zoom camera that could have impressed me. It takes nice photo wide angle as well and the zoom is great. I only tried the movie feature and that seems fine as well. I just can't move past the lack of raw capture from a almost $500 dollar camera. Nikon also misses on the wireless, but I could live without the wireless feature. Also I can't figure out if you can use a UV filter on this camera although it appears to be threaded for a filter, but there is no lens hood option.
I think I my be returning this camera and wait and see if Nikon with a newer P series finally figure out users want raw capture as well a jpeg, It might also be nice if Nikon would state if this camera can use at least a UV filter. I find these filters are good for protecting the lens from scratches and fingerprints as well as there intended use.
As far as recommending this to a friend, it depends on if you want raw capture or just a long range zoom..

I would recommend this to a friend!

What other brand(s) of lens can I use on my Samsung NX300?

I would like to keep the same quality of picture that I am currently getting with Samsung lens.
Have you looked to see what adapters are available for the Samsung. I know there are many adapters for a Sony NEX, but you need to manually focus.

Would you recommend the Nikon D3200 or the Nikon Coolpix p600?

I would recommend the DSLR if you want to capture raw and edit photos. There are other advantages to the DSLR like speed of focus and frames per second as well just to mention a few.
I would recommend the P600 if you don't want to buy more lenses. I also recommend this P600 if you want the 60x zoom cause a lens with that range for the D3200 is thousands of dollars.
