I needed a monitor this size that inexpensive. I probably wouldn't have bought this brand, all things being equal but this one was on sale. I've been pleasantly surprised. It has a great picture and I was able to calibrate to my laptop easily. I would buy Acer again.

After I bought a used Mac Pro and had it fail (video problem), I decided I needed to stop messing around and bite the bullet and get something that would just work. This computer does that and does it well. I would have given it 5 stars except for the price. I think Apple should offer a medium-cost option. Love the computer though.

Tower unit on its side?

I'm planning to use this 1500 tower style battery back up in my entertainment cabinet. Can I use the tower unit if is it laying on its side instead of standing up?

Should be no problem as long as you don't cover any fans or vent holes.
