What's great about it: circular design, battery life, wireless charging, changeable watchfaces, Android Wear
What's not so great: plastic back
I had a Pebble before this, but ever since I bought my 360 in early
December, I have worn it every day since. It usually has around 30% battery after using it all day (That's after about 18 hours of usage). I love how I can just download watch faces and change them on the fly so that any single face never gets old! Talking to reply to notification is a useful upgrade from the pebble. After getting used to it, I have also appreciated Android Wear's simple gesture-based interface. I would recommend a screen protector (The steel is very tough, but the screen scratches like any phone screen). The plastic back seems to be the weakest point because it can scratch more easily, but that side is usually on your wrist anyways, and mine only has a couple of small scratches after all of my use.

All around great watch, and definitely the best smart watch that has been released so far.

is watch and cellphone proximity always necessary
On my regular bicycle ride of 2 hr duration can I leave the cell phone at home? Can I sync the watch and cell after coming home? Does the phone have enough memory to store heart rate data as well as GPS data ? On week ends the run could stretch to 4 hrs/100 kms. Would that be too much data?

Proximity is not always necessary.
The watch actually has 4GB of storage space on it so it will definitely be able to fit that much fitness data. Any data the watch has stored with sync with Moto Fitness or Google Fit once it is all reconnected.
You can even download music to your watch and connect Bluetooth headphones directly to the watch to listen to music with Google Play Music!

Can I use my bluetooth headphones and the watch with one phone?
I use my bluetooth headphones a lot but will the watch sync with my phone simultaneously?
Yes you can. Bluetooth supports more than one device at a time as long as they do not conflict, and the moto360 and Bluetooth headphones do not conflict. I use both every day!
